Welcome to the Houston County School District Teacher Hiring Event! 

 

We are hosting a Teacher Hiring Event on May 8, 2024 at Mossy Creek Middle School.  Schools with teaching vacancies will be represented, and candidates will have the opportunity to talk with administrators from each school. The following is a list of criteria to be qualifed to attend:

• Hold teaching certification in Georgia.
• Eligible for certification through resciprocity by holding teaching certification in another state.
• Enrolled or eligible for alternative certification through TAPP or MAT with a bachelor's degree.
